Administration - Departments

First Line Departments
AcroSoft captures work as it enters the processing cycle.  Supervisors then have a complete view of work in process as the work items are staged for processing.  AcroSoft can distribute work in a number of different ways.  It can be distributed in a first in first out manner, distributed to supervisors for assignment to processors, work can be balanced and distributed evenly among all processors or it can pulled from common queues by the staff.  Regardless of the chosen method, supervisors and managers can constantly monitor the volume of work in the queues and re-distribute work as necessary.

Quality Control Departments
Quality Control Departments will typically sample a portion of the work for accuracy checking.  All work by new employees may be checked until they are fully trained.  Sometimes this task is departmentalized and sometimes it is performed by the supervisor.  The challenge is to check the work that needs reviewing, while allowing other transactions to pass through the system.  Accurate reports can be compiled using this data.

With AcroSoft, the system can be configured to ensure all work is reviewed or take a sample of the work items for review.  Specified employees can have all work items checked.  By making the entry review process more systematic (rather than hit or miss) maximum results can be achieved with a minimum amount of effort.  Reliable management information can be developed that addresses transaction quality by department, by associate, by transaction type, by error type, etc.

Operations Management
Senior managers have little information available to them that will help them manage the operation.  Staffing levels are little more than a guessing game; monthly or seasonal staffing needs are more cultural legend than scientific prediction.

With AcroSoft, managers have comprehensive statistics available that help them to proactively manage their areas of control.  Managers can monitor fluctuations in work volume and identify trends.  They can now plan to hire and train additional staff to accommodate increasing workloads.  Quality trends can be spotted and additional training scheduled as needed.  Managers can also accurately measure the productivity and quality of all departments.  This ends the guess work and subjectivity that are often used for annual performance reviews.
